Can anyone tell me what cams are good, its seems the GoPro cam is a little pricey, I would like to make use of the cam holder that the 2016 comes with so I would like to get a cam that fits.
  2. I'yard non sure other cameras fit the aforementioned mount. I think it'south a proprietary setup. Just... With a little enginuity you lot could purchase a gopro mount parts bag and make virtually anything work there. good luck.

I picked up a GoPro Session for pretty cheap to live in my truck (link below).

  4. I went this route....
Cost me $30 total but now I can use anything in the market. I used my Phone to record a time-lapse on my contempo trip.

Can't believe how many times you permit the silver SUV pass you lot! :D
  6. Yeah... you're going similar hell and getting passed like crazy....!!

Likewise looks like you are i of those "heart lane hogs"....hehe

    Nifty quality video though.

  7. I was loaded with 500 lbs of trade and 4 passengers(5 total). So it was in my all-time involvement to drive prophylactic. Wouldn't want total a new truck and/or injure my family.

I wasn't driving slow. seventy-fourscore mph. I don't know the road. They probably practice. Those trailers get at least 70 mph. It'due south ridiculous since it is not a straight road. To add flare, I but had 4000 miles on the truck so I barely am getting used to the throttle and handling.

My daily commute is with a 98' 4Runner 4banger 130 miles every mean solar day. And I do 80-xc with that thing. But, I know the road, car, and I ride alone with no weight.

The mount is just to the right of the rear view mirror. I have the basic GoPro Hero that costs about 150. It actually does a fantastic job of beginner camera work and it a lot of fun to fiddle with. You can find the newer models on Craigslist if you're a bit more advanced in the world of photography. I am getting the Hero 4 silver due to the addition of an LCD screen that is built in and the remote capabilities. Its a bit more pricey, though.

    The 2015 doesn't accept a GoPro mount.
  12. My GoPro housing makes the camera mount upside down. Therefore I have to upright all my videos. Anyone else have this issue? Or is at that place a setting on the camera I'm missing?

There is a setting you lot are missing. I don't recall exactly where in the carte but there is a setting to choose which side of the camera is upward.
  14. Equally long as I know there's something I tin expect for, this helps bunches! Thanks!

Yeah, I know. However, since I have a few gopro cameras, I want too mount one in the window similar they exercise on the 2016. Over the years I have clustered a ton of accessories and mounts so now I am going to utilize them in my mafawkin truck! :D
